Happiness is being able to live at home.
There is no place like home. For several years, we have been working on smart solutions to improve the prospects of continuing to live at home. We look after both the care workers and those being cared for, and we feel that it is important for us to listen to their experiences and to base what we do on their needs and requirements.
Our services for ensuring a safe life at home are based on an open integration and application platform. We believe that accessibility is an important factor for success. All of our services can be accessed via the Internet, TV or mobile units.
Have help and support from a relative.
Many people find great comfort in the help and support of a close relative. We have produced a service which makes it both easier and more cost-effective for a municipality to offer care workers of relatives the support they need in their day-to-day work. The Family and Friends Support Portal increases the chances for a safe life at home, making it easier for those who care for a relative and simplifying the work for the municipality's personnel.
A simple portal with great options
Among the portal's modules are: Relative-Care Worker Diary, My Medication, My Life Story, notes, and Relief. All the information about the care recipient is gathered together in the Relative-Care Worker Diary. My Medication contains information on the prescribed medicines and a dose table. My Life Story preserves the recollections of a lifetime before memory fades. In notes, the physiotherapist can, for example, enter a training schedule. If the municipality offers relief, it can be booked from the Relief module.
GPS for a more secure life.
Better supervision with the help of GIS. With the Positioning of People with Dementia service, we create security for both the individual and those close to them. The person who is to be positioned carries a gPS transmitter. If the alarm goes off, a map image is sent to a specified recipient, via mobile telephone for example, with information on the person's whereabouts. The service requires great respect for the privacy of the individual, but it offers support which many have been longing for.
